Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gigi Necula took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vali Alexiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Eduard Florescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vali Alexiu in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduard Florescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Minieri's goalkeeper Sebastian Murgescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastian Murgescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Necula in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Codruț Chițes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Minieri's zone, Gigel Petre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Murgescu came out of the goal and Gigel Petre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes in the game, Gigi Necula fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sebastian Murgescu having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Sebastian Murgescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 19th minute, Sergiu Gavrilă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduard Florescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vali Alexiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Gainari booed when Minieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Nichita didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gigel Petre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Murgescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Necula in the 30th minute of play. After 37 played minutes, Gainari's Anton Comarnescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebastian Murgescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gainari reached it. After 40th play minutes Sergiu Gavrilă shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Eduard Florescu and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Minieri's zone, Gigi Necula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Murgescu came out of the goal and Gigi Necula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ionică Ştirbu charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ionică Ştirbu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Gainari players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Minieri were winning 0-2.
The wind increased when Sergiu Gavrilă made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Horia Nichita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigel Petre might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Murgescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gigel Petre ran back to his position shaking his head. Sergiu Gavrilă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Ursu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute of the match Maxim Simionică sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduard Florescu skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Gainari booed when Minieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Tase didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Gainari's Manole Brădescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Gigel Petre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Murgescu was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, Gainari's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vali Alexiu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the final whistle sounded Minieri left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gainari.
