Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eugen Istrăteanu started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Eugen Istrăteanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cătălin Răica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Istrăteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Adrian Pantiș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Cătălin Răica made a huge save. Cătălin Răica made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Adrian Pantiș sent off a good shot on target. Dinu Năsturel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Basarab Ielciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basarab Ielciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Ciompec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Dinu Năsturel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basarab Ielciu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Rascruci UFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adrian Pantiș fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octav Traianescu during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Octav Traianescu kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Rascruci UFC got a corner. Arianu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcel Bodea ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Dan Baldazar managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silviu Păsărin during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Silviu Păsărin hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Marcel Bodea sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Arianu's Basarab Ielciu didn't even have to move. Adrian Pantiș might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cătălin Răica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrian Pantiș ran back to his position shaking his head. 48 minutes into the match, Rascruci UFC's Dinu Năsturel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basarab Ielciu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aristide Ciompec was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Rascruci UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Galușcă to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arianu's goalkeeper Basarab Ielciu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Octav Traianescu kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Arianu's zone, Aristide Ciompec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basarab Ielciu came out of the goal and Aristide Ciompec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Arianu getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Nicodim Chirtoacă hit a great ball. Cătălin Răica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Istrăteanu in the 62nd minute of play. Cătălin Răica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviu Păsărin in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Adrian Pantiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Răica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Silviu Păsărin had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Alex Dan charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Dan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, Rascruci UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Dan to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute of the match Octav Traianescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cătălin Răica skillfully saved the ball. If Adrian Pantiș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Mircea Tărău hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristide Ciompec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basarab Ielciu having to interfere. Basarab Ielciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinu Năsturel in the 86th minute. Mircea Tărău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Basarab Ielciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basarab Ielciu made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Dinu Năsturel sent off a good shot on target. Basarab Ielciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Năsturel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rascruci UFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
