The supporters of Arianu booed when Giurcul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liviu Macaneață didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rdth minute of the game Eugen Istrăteanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Giurcul's Horea Ionașcu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Liviu Macaneață kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Horea Ionașcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Pantiș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octav Traianescu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 15thth minute of the game Adrian Pantiș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Giurcul's Horea Ionașcu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute Adrian Pantiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Ionașcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Irinel Hobjilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liviu Macaneață hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When Arianu's Eugen Istrăteanu in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Giurcul's goalie prevented a goal. In the 26th minute, Adrian Pantiș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arianu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Adrian Pantiș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arianu's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Pantiș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Ionașcu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 33 played minutes Arianu got a freekick which was hit by Tudor Crainic. 37 minutes into the match, Arianu's goalkeeper Basarab Ielciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nichifor Șerbulea. A collision led to Arianu getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Tudor Crainic hit a great ball. Horea Ionașcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Istrăteanu in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Istrăteanu in the 41st minute of play forced Giurcul's goalkeeper Horea Ionașcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nichifor Șerbulea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ion Mihăilescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Horea Ionașcu was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Adrian Pantiș capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adrian Pantiș really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After 57 minutes, Sebastian Marinică mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Giurcul and the Arianu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastian Marinică kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Adrian Pantiș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horea Ionașcu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Giurcul's Horea Ionașcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Istrăteanu in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Eugen Istrăteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arianu's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugen Istrăteanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Ionașcu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Irinel Hobjilă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basarab Ielciu having to make a save. When Eugen Istrăteanu came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Arianu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugen Istrăteanu couldn't finish the play. Adrian Pantiș was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Arianu's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Adrian Pantiș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Pantiș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Horea Ionașcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Pantiș in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Horea Ionașcu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Adrian Pantiș succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 94th playminute. The Giurcul supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arianu's performance. The match ended with a win for Arianu.
