Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ferdinand Ciolac kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes of play, Zavalul CSM's Cazimir Albuț made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorel Văduvescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iosif Curea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilian Moți in the 10th minute. Valentin Crăiniceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cornel Nițu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Huruestii's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Iacobeanu came free, but Dorel Văduvescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cornel Nițu during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iosif Curea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Ciolac in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Zavalul CSM booed when Huruestii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezar Mortu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Crăiniceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorel Văduvescu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Huruestii's zone, Valentin Crăiniceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorel Văduvescu came out of the goal and Valentin Crăiniceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dorin Iacobeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucrețiu Avacariței kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Iosif Curea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Moți, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Cazimir Albuț was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zavalul CSM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huruestii the free kick. The supporters of Zavalul CSM booed when Huruestii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Ciolac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Diaconu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Iacobeanu in the 69th minute of play forced Huruestii's goalkeeper Dorel Văduvescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Zavalul CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Ciolac came free, but Iosif Curea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Ferdinand Ciolac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zavalul CSM's Iosif Curea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Moți in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Huruestii's Ferdinand Ciolac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iosif Curea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 92nd minute, Huruestii's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Valentin Crăiniceanu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 98 minutes into the match, Zavalul CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Ciolac came free, but Iosif Curea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
