Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Teodor Popa made the kick off and thus started the match. Valentin Crăiniceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. David Mardare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorin Iacobeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Mardare having to interfere. Valentin Crăiniceanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but David Mardare made a huge save. Iosif Curea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Mititelu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodor Popa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Iosif Curea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Traian Mititelu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Curea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Teodor Popa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Rau SC's Traian Mititelu got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Iacobeanu in the 26th minute of play forced Rau SC's goalkeeper David Mardare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Rau SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Valentin Crăiniceanu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 32 played minutes Zavalul CSM got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Turceanu. Zavalul CSM's Iosif Curea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihai Codrescu in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Traian Mititelu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorin Iacobeanu made a kick off. Dorin Iacobeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. David Mardare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Valentin Crăiniceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zavalul CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Crăiniceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rau SC's Teodor Popa got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodor Popa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rdth minute of the game Teodor Popa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zavalul CSM's Iosif Curea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Traian Mititelu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rau SC's zone, Valentin Crăiniceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Mardare came out of the goal and Valentin Crăiniceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rau SC's goalkeeper David Mardare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rau SC's David Mardare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Crăiniceanu in the 74th minute of play. Lucrețiu Avacariței was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the game, one of Zavalul CSM:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Rau SC's Costică Gioagă got a free kick in the 85th minute. David Mardare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Crăiniceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Ovidiu Turceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Crăiniceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Costică Donciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Ion Neicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidiu Turceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. David Mardare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rau SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
