Codruț Bojonca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorel Văduvescu having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Huruestii's goalkeeper Dorel Văduvescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Codruț Bojonca. Dorel Văduvescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Petcu in the 34th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cornel Nițu during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Huruestii got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Nițu. If Constantin Petcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bustenari's Radu Fărcașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Moți in the 44th minute of play. If Codruț Bojonca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantin Petcu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Constantin Petcu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorel Văduvescu was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Codruț Bojonca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bustenari's Radu Fărcașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Ciolac in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilian Moți got free with Radu Fărcașu in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Codruț Bojonca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorel Văduvescu having to interfere. After 94 minutes of play, Bustenari's Constantin Petcu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorel Văduvescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Huruestii's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
