Nicodim Caranfil made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Filip Luncașu sent off a good shot on target. When Filip Luncașu came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Haineala UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Luncașu couldn't finish the play. Nicodim Caranfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Şoimaru in the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Ovidiu Şumălan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Firoiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Adrian Cobzeanu's late challenge caught a Haineala UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Cobzeanu helped the player get up and apologised. Nicodim Caranfil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Şoimaru's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Filip Luncașu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Nicodim Caranfil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haineala UFC. Filip Luncașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicodim Caranfil was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Daniel Şoimaru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Şoimaru really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Ovidiu Şumălan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Firoiu having to interfere. If Nae Moga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Daniel Şoimaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Caranfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After some careless play in the Cernavoda SC defense, Daniel Şoimaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicodim Caranfil. The Cernavoda SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicodim Caranfil should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ovidiu Şumălan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cernavoda SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidiu Şumălan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Firoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nae Moga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Filip Luncașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Haineala UFC's Filip Luncașu in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cernavoda SC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Encescu in the 77th minute of play forced Cernavoda SC's goalkeeper Nicodim Caranfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Firoiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nae Moga in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute Daniel Şoimaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Caranfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Nae Moga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Firoiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Nicodim Caranfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Luncașu in the 94th minute of the match. Haineala UFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
