Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ionel Balint got the match started through his kick off. Mihai Arsene made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Mihai Lucrețiu sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cazimir Gagiu in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihai Arsene saved Chitimii from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Cireseni's zone, Ionel Balint stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Cruceru came out of the goal and Ionel Balint tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Andrei Jula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cireseni's Cazimir Gagiu got a free kick in the 13th minute. Paul Cruceru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Balint, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cazimir Gagiu in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihai Arsene prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ionel Balint fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chitimii's protests and gave Ionel Balint a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chitimii getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ionel Balint hit a great ball. Francisc Isăcescu's late challenge caught a Cireseni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisc Isăcescu helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Chitimii got a freekick which was hit by Francisc Isăcescu. After 26 played minutes Chitimii got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Timofte. Mihai Lucrețiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihai Arsene read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Cireseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silviu Găină to maneuver through the defense. Petrică Ciorbea missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 42 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Paul Cruceru right hand side. Paul Cruceru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionel Balint went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Cazimir Gagiu made the kick off in the second half. Mihai Lucrețiu struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Mihai Arsene didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cireseni. Mihai Arsene came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Cireseni's Cazimir Gagiu. But to his dismay, Cazimir Gagiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 58 played minutes Cireseni got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Jula. With a little luck, Cireseni's Paul Cruceru got control of the ball when Marius Balțoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andrei Jula's late challenge caught a Chitimii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrei Jula helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cireseni's Andrei Jula got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Mihai Arsene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Lucrețiu in the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to Chitimii getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Nistor Gherghe hit a great ball. Silviu Găină was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Marius Balțoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Paul Cruceru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Cruceru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Balint in the 75th minute of play. Paul Cruceru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Balint, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Ionel Balint managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chitimii's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionel Balint was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Cruceru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cireseni's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
