In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bidigesti's goalkeeper Liviu Brașoveanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 12 in the game by Lucian Potocianu from a close distance when the talented Liviu Brașoveanu managed to make a qualified save. Bidigesti's players were relieved. When Iustinian Negruț fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bidigesti's protests and gave Iustinian Negruț a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bidigesti getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Iustinian Negruț hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes Cobles AC got a freekick which was hit by Lucian Potocianu. When Bidigesti's Bogdan Ciompec in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cobles AC's goalie prevented a goal. Valeriu Marincean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Ciompec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 19 minutes, Ferdinand Negrilă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cobles AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Negrilă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 played minutes Cobles AC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Negrilă. After 23 played minutes Cobles AC got a freekick which was hit by Lucian Potocianu. 25 minutes into the game, Horaţiu Anghel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cobles AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bidigesti the free kick. A collision led to Cobles AC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Horaţiu Anghel hit a great ball. Ferdinand Negrilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Liviu Brașoveanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Costin Grecu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bidigesti and the Cobles AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, one of Bidigesti:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bidigesti. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Cobles AC. Cristi Corbeanu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Liviu Brașoveanu. 1-0. Liviu Brașoveanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdinand Negrilă went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Bogdan Ciompec took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valeriu Marincean. Valeriu Marincean dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Bogdan Ciompec kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toader Bărbătescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Valeriu Marincean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Ciompec in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucian Potocianu in the 58th minute of play forced Bidigesti's goalkeeper Liviu Brașoveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bogdan Ciompec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Negrilă in the 61st minute of play forced Bidigesti's goalkeeper Liviu Brașoveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liviu Brașoveanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toader Bărbătescu's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Cobles AC's Toader Bărbătescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Liviu Brașoveanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Ionică Vochin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Negrilă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Liviu Brașoveanu. Bidigesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinand Negrilă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Liviu Brașoveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toader Bărbătescu in the 90th minute of the match. If Ferdinand Negrilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
