In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pristol CSS's goalkeeper Marcu Traianescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute Gelu Ecobescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Traianescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 11 in the game by Lucrețiu Ghiurutan from a close distance when the talented Marcu Traianescu managed to make a qualified save. Pristol CSS's players were relieved. Pristol CSS's Marcu Traianescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Pristol CSS from getting a goal against them. Marcu Traianescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelu Ecobescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Iustinian Braru charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iustinian Braru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iustinian Braru kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Irinel Ciungu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pristol CSS's Marcu Traianescu didn't even have to move. 24 minutes into the game, Lucrețiu Ghiurutan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buznea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pristol CSS the free kick. Lucrețiu Ghiurutan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Ecobescu in the 28th minute of play forced Pristol CSS's goalkeeper Marcu Traianescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Nestor kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Marcu Traianescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Irinel Ciungu. After a defensive mix-up in Pristol CSS's zone, Gelu Ecobescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcu Traianescu came out of the goal and Gelu Ecobescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcu Traianescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Ecobescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelu Ecobescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcu Traianescu having to interfere. If Gelu Ecobescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gelu Ecobescu to make the kick off. Gelu Ecobescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcu Traianescu having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Anton Nestor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the game's 59th minute Buznea's Irinel Ciungu took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Marcu Traianescu and thus the score was 1-0. Lucrețiu Ghiurutan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Marcu Traianescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gelu Ecobescu in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcu Traianescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pristol CSS's goalkeeper Marcu Traianescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Pristol CSS got a freekick which was hit by Anton Nestor. Marcu Traianescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Ecobescu in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Gelu Ecobescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pristol CSS's Marcu Traianescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Ionică Negrilă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Laurențiu Botea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Buznea getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Dorel Potopea hit a great ball. Gelu Ecobescu scored 2-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcu Traianescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Buznea were the better team. Buznea's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
