The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Nestor's late challenge caught a Groserea UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Nestor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Pristol CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Nestor to maneuver through the defense. With a left leg Marcu Traianescu saved Pristol CSS from getting behind. A collision led to Pristol CSS getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Aristide Jilăveanu hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Iustinian Braru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcu Traianescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduard Melentie's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When Eduard Melentie came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Groserea UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Melentie couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Pristol CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Melentie came free, but Marcu Traianescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduard Melentie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcu Traianescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Ionică Negrilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Șerban Perșa having to interfere. The supporters of Pristol CSS booed when Groserea UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Dincă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionică Negrilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Șerban Perșa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduard Melentie to strike the kick off in the second half. Șerban Perșa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustinian Braru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alin Mârza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcu Traianescu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pristol CSS's Iustinian Braru got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Groserea UFC's Marius Dincă in 61 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Marcu Traianescu guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Eduard Melentie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Iulian in the 65th minute of play forced Groserea UFC's goalkeeper Șerban Perșa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Aurelian Iulian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Perșa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduard Melentie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcu Traianescu having to make a save. Marcu Traianescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Melentie, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Groserea UFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
