Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Barcul AC's Tudor Gherasim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihnea Negreanu in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mircea Chifu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aron Sinulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Mircea Chifu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saracsaul FCM's Mihnea Negreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Barcul AC booed when Saracsaul FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Madgearu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tudor Gherasim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudor Gherasim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Mihăiţă Peter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Răzvan Madgearu's late challenge caught a Barcul AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Răzvan Madgearu helped the player get up and apologised. 33 minutes into the match, Saracsaul FCM's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Peter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Cicortaș. Mihăiţă Peter made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Edgar Cicortaș sent off a good shot on target. If Mihnea Negreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aron Sinulescu took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mircea Chifu. Mircea Chifu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tudor Gherasim kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Răzvan Madgearu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Mircea Chifu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Negreanu in the 52nd minute of play. Edgar Cicortaș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Cicortaș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihăiţă Peter having to interfere. Mihăiţă Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Cicortaș in the 59th minute of the match. Aron Sinulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Mircea Chifu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Barcul AC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ferdinand Glodeanu hit a great ball. Barcul AC's Mircea Chifu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Barcul AC from getting a goal against them. The nice shot from Mihnea Negreanu in the 75thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Mircea Chifu had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihnea Negreanu got free with Mircea Chifu in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Aron Sinulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mircea Chifu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aron Sinulescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 88 minute of play.
