Valer Turcan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Calistrat Robescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Valer Turcan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Constantin Miclea hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13thth minute of the game Ferdinand Vuşcan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hrip's Cătălin Agachi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balinesti CSS's goalkeeper Calistrat Robescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mircea Mohora charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mircea Mohora the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Mircea Mohora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Mugurel Rădoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Mugurel Rădoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Agachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balinesti CSS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gigel Nasta in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gigel Nasta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cătălin Agachi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 31 minutes, Ferdinand Vuşcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balinesti CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Vuşcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mihail Arjoca hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Hrip's Cătălin Agachi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Vuşcan in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Balinesti CSS's zone, Mihail Nicodim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calistrat Robescu came out of the goal and Mihail Nicodim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Hrip's Gheorghe Braia got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 48th minute, Constantin Miclea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valer Turcan was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Balinesti CSS got a corner. Hrip's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gigel Nasta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gigel Nasta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hrip's Cătălin Agachi did a great save. Mihail Nicodim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Robescu having to interfere. Cătălin Agachi came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Balinesti CSS's Mugurel Rădoi. But to his dismay, Mugurel Rădoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. During the 66th minute of the match Mircea Mohora completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mircea Mohora a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Balinesti CSS getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Mircea Mohora hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Valer Turcan made a precise shot to the right of Calistrat Robescu. Balinesti CSS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Hrip's Mihail Nicodim got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Mugurel Rădoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Agachi having to interfere. Emanuel Bocu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Agachi having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Mugurel Rădoi made a precise shot to the right of Cătălin Agachi. Hrip's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 89th minute, Mihail Nicodim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Mugurel Rădoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
