Fabian Buciu scored 3-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Ciorănescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Pavel Birișu made a precise shot to the right of Iulian Comșa. Pieptani CSM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. If Emilian Chirculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Buciu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Eric Ciorănescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 33 minutes into the match, Leleasca CF's Emilian Chirculescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iulian Comșa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pavel Birișu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Pieptani CSM:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Leleasca CF:s goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pavel Birișu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th play minute Emilian Chirculescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Iulian Comșa. 4-3. Pieptani CSM's Iulian Comșa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Birișu in the 60th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Dan Apostolescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leleasca CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pieptani CSM the free kick. After a rather tough play, Leleasca CF's Dan Apostolescu got a free kick in the 66th minute. During the 67th minute of the match Dan Apostolescu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dan Apostolescu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Leleasca CF getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dan Apostolescu hit a great ball. In the 77th minute Fabian Buciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Ciorănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Pieptani CSM's goalkeeper Iulian Comșa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilian Chirculescu. Marian Enătescu kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Emilian Chirculescu came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Leleasca CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilian Chirculescu couldn't finish the play. Calistrat Buzgar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Comșa having to interfere. If Emilian Chirculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adam Bădilescu's late challenge caught a Leleasca CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Bădilescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Adam Bădilescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iurie Ghiurutan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iulian Comșa having to make a save. Leleasca CF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
