Pieptani CSM's Iulian Comșa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Pieptani CSM from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the match, Carlomanesti UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Buciu came free, but Paul Lalescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fabian Buciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Buciu took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Lalescu. Paul Lalescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Fabian Buciu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Paul Lalescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute Teodor Frânculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Lalescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Carlomanesti UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Fințescu to maneuver through the defense. Teodor Frânculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Lalescu having to interfere. The supporters of Pieptani CSM booed when Carlomanesti UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Ştiopul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paul Lalescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Frânculescu in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Pieptani CSM getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Adam Bădilescu hit a great ball. Victor Văcărescu charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Văcărescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Buciu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marian Enătescu during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicolae Busuioceanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iulian Comșa. Pieptani CSM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pieptani CSM's Iulian Comșa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Văcărescu in the 55th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, Carlomanesti UFC's Iordache Elian made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iulian Comșa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iordache Elian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pieptani CSM's Iulian Comșa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Elian in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Carlomanesti UFC's goalkeeper Paul Lalescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiberiu Mailat. Iulian Comșa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Văcărescu in the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Carlomanesti UFC's Iustinian Răuțu got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the game, Fabian Buciu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Paul Lalescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabian Buciu struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Paul Lalescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pieptani CSM. Adam Bădilescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Paul Lalescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Victor Văcărescu came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Carlomanesti UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Văcărescu couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Văcărescu in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iulian Comșa saved Pieptani CSM from getting behind. In the 94th minute Iordache Elian suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Traian Slavici fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pieptani CSM's protests and gave Traian Slavici a yellow card for diving instead. Traian Slavici hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute of the match Nicolae Busuioceanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iulian Comșa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marian Enătescu kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
