In the 4th minute, Octavian Minteuan made a precise shot to the right of Iustin Buhăescu. Bacani AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Stroiescu in the 11th minute of play forced Runca CSS's goalkeeper Romeo Ghiciușca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Octavian Minteuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Runca CSS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Gheorghe Ghioane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Romeo Ghiciușca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicodim Cicortaș hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Romeo Ghiciușca stood somewhat misplaced when Gheorghe Ghioane came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 28 minute. After 30 played minutes Runca CSS got a freekick which was hit by Octavian Minteuan. Iustin Buhăescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Minteuan in the 33rd minute of play. Octavian Minteuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nichifor Stroiescu came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Bacani AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nichifor Stroiescu couldn't finish the play. Cristinel Dănășel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Runca CSS were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nichifor Stroiescu made a kick off. Cristi Codreanu charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristi Codreanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Bacani AC got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Codreanu. In the 52nd minute, Olimpiu Capșuneanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iustin Buhăescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Cristinel Dănășel hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match Iurie Aluculesei sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeo Ghiciușca skillfully saved the ball. Romeo Ghiciușca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Stroiescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Octavian Minteuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iustin Buhăescu made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Olimpiu Capșuneanu sent off a good shot on target. Nichifor Stroiescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Romeo Ghiciușca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iurie Aluculesei hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Nichifor Stroiescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Ghiciușca having to interfere. Gheorghe Ghioane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Runca CSS getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Gabriel Gioagă hit a great ball. Iurie Aluculesei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristinel Dănășel kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Ghioane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Romeo Ghiciușca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Şerbănoiu during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Runca CSS getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Emanuel Şerbănoiu hit a great ball. Olimpiu Capșuneanu in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iustin Buhăescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Runca CSS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
