After 5 played minutes, Bacani AC's Iurie Aluculesei shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basarab Baniciu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bacani AC reached it. Gheorghe Ghioane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Basarab Baniciu made a huge save. Iurie Aluculesei hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute of the match Dorin Mitică sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iustin Buhăescu skillfully saved the ball. Avram Receanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Buhăescu having to interfere. If Nicodim Cicortaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avram Receanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Lucrețiu Barbonța got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Bajnegi CS's Iosif Maghiran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iustin Buhăescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iustin Buhăescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Barbonța, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Nichifor Stroiescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucrețiu Barbonța fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Buhăescu having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Bacani AC's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Receanu came free, but Iustin Buhăescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 minutes of play, Bajnegi CS's Avram Receanu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iustin Buhăescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nichifor Stroiescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Nichifor Stroiescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Basarab Baniciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Bacani AC got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Antipa. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bajnegi CS's goalkeeper Basarab Baniciu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Avram Receanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Iustin Buhăescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avram Receanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Buhăescu having to interfere. Iurie Aluculesei took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Basarab Baniciu. Bajnegi CS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Bacani AC booed when Bajnegi CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Hapaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Nichifor Stroiescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bajnegi CS's Basarab Baniciu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gheorghe Ghioane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basarab Baniciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Stroiescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Bacani AC booed when Bajnegi CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Hapaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Avram Receanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustin Buhăescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Nichifor Stroiescu made a precise shot to the right of Basarab Baniciu. Bajnegi CS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
