Eliodor Nistorescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Ivan, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute, Moise Ivan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Petru Prisecaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Homorodalmas FC booed when Barboasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Prisecaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moise Ivan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-1 became the score in the 39th minute when Moise Ivan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Barboasa getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cătălin Răducan hit a great ball. Cezar Pană received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Eliodor Nistorescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When Moise Ivan came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Homorodalmas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moise Ivan couldn't finish the play. Iulian Budianu's late challenge caught a Homorodalmas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iulian Budianu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Barboasa getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Iulian Budianu hit a great ball. Eliodor Nistorescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costel Mercescu went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Aron Cimpoieru's late challenge caught a Barboasa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aron Cimpoieru helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Aron Cimpoieru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd match minute, Homorodalmas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Pană to maneuver through the defense. Barboasa's Eliodor Nistorescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Barboasa from getting a goal against them. Sergiu Mârza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Cezar Pană hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cezar Pană fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Nistorescu having to interfere. Bogdan Tudose showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petru Prisecaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Barboasa's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Moise Ivan 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Andrei Bocu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Homorodalmas FC's zone, Sergiu Mârza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Tudose came out of the goal and Sergiu Mârza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cezar Pană hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Sergiu Mârza came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Barboasa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergiu Mârza couldn't finish the play. Eliodor Nistorescu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Homorodalmas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
