Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucrețiu Cubleșan got the match started through his kick off. Vlad Şuţu might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantin Nasta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vlad Şuţu ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gelu Ghionea in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Elefteriu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Iordache Sima came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Copou CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iordache Sima couldn't finish the play. Iordache Sima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. George Elefteriu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabin Coșereanu kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Dezsan CSM's Vlad Şuţu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Constantin Nasta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iordache Sima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Elefteriu having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Vlad Şuţu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dezsan CSM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The long shot by Grigore Albulescu in the 35th minute really tested George Elefteriu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. George Elefteriu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copou CSS. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 84 minutes, Gelu Ghionea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Copou CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gelu Ghionea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 minutes of play, Copou CSS's Gelu Ghionea made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Elefteriu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dezsan CSM eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
