Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Niculae Puiu started the match with the kick off. Iordache Sima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iosif Joja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Iosif Joja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gelu Ghionea's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Gelu Ghionea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Iosif Joja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Mihalasceni got a freekick which was hit by Gică Augustin. After a defensive mix-up in Mihalasceni's zone, Gelu Ghionea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iosif Joja came out of the goal and Gelu Ghionea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iordache Sima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Mihalasceni's Manole Hobjilă slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Constantin Nasta. That made the score 1-1 after 37 minutes of play. In the 49th minute, Codrin Ştoia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iordache Sima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mihalasceni's Iosif Joja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Mihalasceni from getting a goal against them. Codrin Ştoia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Nasta having to interfere. Iosif Joja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iordache Sima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelu Ghionea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Petrică Călinescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes, Mihalasceni's Laurențiu Dănilă shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Constantin Nasta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mihalasceni reached it. Constantin Nasta came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Mihalasceni's Niculae Puiu. But to his dismay, Niculae Puiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Niculae Puiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Nasta having to interfere. Iosif Joja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordache Sima in the 81st minute of play. Ovidiu Cismaș charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidiu Cismaș the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ovidiu Cismaș hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 87 minutes of play, Mihalasceni's Niculae Puiu made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantin Nasta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mihalasceni were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
