Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Doru Gruescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes, Budesti CSM's Mihail Bobe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Remus Iosif came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Budesti CSM reached it. In the 11th minute, Silviu Piersic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Budesti CSM's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Doru Gruescu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Doru Gruescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Robert Muncelean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Călin Copil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th match minute, Schender was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Pătru to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Budesti CSM booed when Schender was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silviu Piersic didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mădălin Nebunu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mădălin Nebunu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remus Iosif read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Remus Iosif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Cocoș in the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Doru Gruescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schender's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doru Gruescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Doru Gruescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vali Oroveanu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, one of Schender:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Schender. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Budesti CSM. Aurel Bornescu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Remus Iosif. 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudiu Cocoș made a kick off. Ilie Corbeanu's late challenge caught a Budesti CSM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ilie Corbeanu helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes Schender got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Corbeanu. After having played for 70 minutes, Silviu Piersic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schender's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silviu Piersic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remus Iosif made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Mădălin Nebunu sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the game, Silviu Piersic cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Robert Muncelean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silviu Piersic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Robert Muncelean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Silviu Piersic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudiu Cocoș in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Iosif prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mădălin Nebunu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remus Iosif having to make a save. Schender were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
