Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aurel Mărăscu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Emanuel Hortopan kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Tigaul's Flavius Gherasim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Tigaul from getting a goal against them. Niculae Epure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavius Gherasim having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordache Nuțu in the 12th minute of play forced Telcisor's goalkeeper Șerban Boltașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iordache Nuțu in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Șerban Boltașu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Iordache Nuțu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Telcisor's Tiberiu Lucănescu got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Tigaul defense, Dragoş Răchită kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavius Gherasim. The Tigaul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavius Gherasim should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remus Itoafă in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Șerban Boltașu saved Telcisor from getting behind. If Iordache Nuțu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurel Mărăscu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Telcisor getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Narcis Bitanu hit a great ball. Emanuel Alupulesei, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Iordache Nuțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Aurel Mărăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Boltașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Telcisor getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Narcis Bitanu hit a great ball. Telcisor's Șerban Boltașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Nuțu in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordache Nuțu in the 43rd minute of play forced Telcisor's goalkeeper Șerban Boltașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niculae Epure made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Epure in the 51st minute of play forced Tigaul's goalkeeper Flavius Gherasim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiberiu Lucănescu's late challenge caught a Tigaul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiberiu Lucănescu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Telcisor getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tiberiu Lucănescu hit a great ball. Mihail Nițisor's late challenge caught a Telcisor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihail Nițisor helped the player get up and apologised. Mihail Nițisor hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Dragoş Răchită got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niculae Epure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Iordache Nuțu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Telcisor's zone, Aurel Mărăscu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Șerban Boltașu came out of the goal and Aurel Mărăscu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurel Mărăscu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Șerban Boltașu made a huge save. When Dragoş Răchită came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Telcisor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dragoş Răchită couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Tigaul booed when Telcisor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Bitanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dragoş Răchită fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavius Gherasim having to interfere. Aurel Mărăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Șerban Boltașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Telcisor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tigaul had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
