Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dinu Cezariu started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Șerban Frențiu in the 5th minute of play forced Jigalia AFC's goalkeeper Ovidiu Dulfu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Gavril Dorlea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidiu Dulfu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matei Horodincă's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Romeo Bărbulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Jigalia AFC's Ovidiu Dulfu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matei Horodincă in the 10th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Ferneziu got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Frențiu. Tiberiu Balaci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcu Ciolac having to interfere. In the 19th minute Șerban Frențiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Dulfu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iurie Pintilie kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Marcu Ciolac was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paul Cangeopol. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinu Cezariu in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcu Ciolac saved Ferneziu from getting behind. Matei Horodincă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Dulfu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jigalia AFC's Romeo Bărbulescu got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 45th minute, Matei Horodincă made a precise shot to the right of Ovidiu Dulfu. Jigalia AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Șerban Frențiu to strike the kick off in the second half. Matei Horodincă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Ovidiu Dulfu made a huge save. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ferneziu's goalkeeper Marcu Ciolac, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 58 played minutes Ferneziu got a freekick which was hit by Iustinian Slicaru. In the 64th minute, Matei Horodincă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Jigalia AFC's Tiberiu Balaci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcu Ciolac narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tiberiu Balaci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute of the match Iustinian Petruescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidiu Dulfu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dinu Cezariu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute of the game, Șerban Frențiu landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugen Diaconu during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Dinu Cezariu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gavril Dorlea fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jigalia AFC's protests and gave Gavril Dorlea a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ferneziu booed when Jigalia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Dorlea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ferneziu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
