Ilie Iriza's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dumitru Alexandrescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Oprisita CF's Augustin Şuplăcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Proca in the 12th minute of play. Gigi Proca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Augustin Şuplăcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Barza AS's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Iriza came free, but Dumitru Alexandrescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Petre Herescu suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Cornel Stana charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornel Stana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cornel Stana kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Moise Zglimbea's late challenge caught a Oprisita CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barza AS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Oprisita CF.
