Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cirtea's Tudor Sârban started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Tudor Sârban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cirtea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tudor Sârban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute, Tudor Sârban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Gabriel Aldulea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Oaia Becaliana's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Aldulea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelu Doloman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valer Dobrițoiu during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Oaia Becaliana booed when Cirtea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Dobrițoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gică Tufescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Gelu Doloman made a huge save. Ovidiu Feteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes FC Oaia Becaliana got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Mușetescu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Abrudan in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gelu Doloman saved Cirtea from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Tufescu in the 35th minute of play forced Cirtea's goalkeeper Gelu Doloman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirtea's Gelu Doloman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Abrudan in the 37th minute of play. Ionică Mușetescu charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ionică Mușetescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Oaia Becaliana's Ionică Mușetescu got a free kick in the 39th minute. Alexandru Papadima kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Tudor Sârban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Costică Dancu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Gică Tufescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 58thth minute of the game Gabriel Odobescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cirtea's Gelu Doloman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Cirtea's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Abrudan came free, but Gelu Doloman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ovidiu Feteanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gelu Doloman was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Gică Tufescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gelu Doloman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Feteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelu Doloman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Tufescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 69 minutes, Alexandru Papadima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cirtea and the FC Oaia Becaliana players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Martin Abrudan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gelu Doloman was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Gabriel Odobescu put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gelu Doloman. If Cosmin Popoacă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Tudor Sârban dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Costică Dancu, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Oaia Becaliana's zone, Tudor Sârban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costică Dancu came out of the goal and Tudor Sârban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costică Dancu made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Cosmin Popoacă sent off a good shot on target. Cosmin Popoacă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Costică Dancu made a huge save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
