Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Petrică Mailat kicked off to start the match. Valer Dobrițoiu succeeded in the game's 5th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After 10 played minutes Caiuti got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Moromete. Cosmin Popoacă who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Irinel Buhăescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. David Zăvoianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gelu Doloman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirtea's Tudor Sârban got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Caiuti's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tudor Sârban fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petrică Mailat couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Tudor Sârban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Irinel Buhăescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tudor Sârban's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Gelu Doloman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Mailat in the 45th minute of play. When Petrică Mailat came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Caiuti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petrică Mailat couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tudor Sârban to make the kick off. The supporters of Cirtea booed when Caiuti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Crușeveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Cosmin Popoacă notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Caiuti's Irinel Buhăescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Mailat in the 86th minute of play forced Cirtea's goalkeeper Gelu Doloman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tudor Sârban took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Irinel Buhăescu. Irinel Buhăescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. If Cosmin Popoacă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cirtea had won after a very even match.
