Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ilie Chesaru got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match Horia Berevoescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silviu Săraru showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Eusebiu Petrin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manole Balint was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Silviu Săraru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Herescu in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DRK's Emanuel Herea got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Ilie Chesaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Hirja SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sandu Trişcu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sandu Trişcu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Silviu Săraru skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 31st minute, Sandu Trişcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Herescu in the 32nd minute of play forced Hirja SC's goalkeeper Silviu Săraru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silviu Săraru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Herescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Herescu to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Trişcu in the 58th minute of play forced Hirja SC's goalkeeper Silviu Săraru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Ilie Chesaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Balint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manole Balint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Chesaru in the 62nd minute of the match. Silviu Săraru came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by DRK's David Herescu. But to his dismay, David Herescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. DRK's David Herescu got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DRK! When the match had been going on for 83 minutes, Hirja SC's Iordache Hârțan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Manole Balint. David Herescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
