Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Octavian Rogozanu got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Hirja SC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Rogozanu came free, but Silviu Săraru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Santamaria's Octavian Rogozanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silviu Săraru. Silviu Săraru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Nicolae Popeneciu charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolae Popeneciu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Hirja SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Popeneciu to maneuver through the defense. Ion Trăilă took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silviu Săraru. Hirja SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Hirja SC's Silviu Săraru got control of the ball when Marcel Mărăscu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcel Mărăscu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silviu Săraru having to interfere. Hirja SC's Silviu Săraru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Rogozanu in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Hirja SC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Stelian Calciu hit a great ball. Marcel Mărăscu in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silviu Săraru, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Chesaru in the 27th minute of play forced Santamaria's goalkeeper Iulian Seţeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silviu Săraru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavian Rogozanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 37th minute, Ilie Chesaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eusebiu Petrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Seţeanu having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Santamaria's Octavian Rogozanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silviu Săraru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ilie Chesaru was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Santamaria booed when Hirja SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Popeneciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marcel Mărăscu came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Santamaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Mărăscu couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Alin Buhăescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Hirja SC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Mărăscu came free, but Silviu Săraru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Eusebiu Petrin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iulian Seţeanu. Santamaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebiu Petrin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. If Octavian Rogozanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute, Stelian Calciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Mărăscu in the 71st minute of play forced Hirja SC's goalkeeper Silviu Săraru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Alin Buhăescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ilie Chesaru came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Hirja SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilie Chesaru couldn't finish the play. Ilie Chesaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcel Mărăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Silviu Săraru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Octavian Rogozanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Săraru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Mărăscu took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silviu Săraru. Silviu Săraru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2.
