The Capata AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nichifor Corlățean should have stopped the shot. Nichifor Corlățean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rareș Iosub, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Rareș Iosub hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Ionică Antipa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rareș Iosub scored 1-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nichifor Corlățean, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucian Blejan charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucian Blejan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Capata AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Blejan to maneuver through the defense. Ionică Antipa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Nichifor Corlățean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nichifor Corlățean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Iosub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ionică Antipa to make the kick off. Florin Panduru's late challenge caught a Capata AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florin Panduru helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th match minute, Capata AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Blejan to maneuver through the defense. Ionică Antipa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichifor Corlățean having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Capata AFC got a freekick which was hit by Damian Dorineanu. If Ionică Antipa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nichifor Corlățean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionică Antipa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rareș Iosub struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Nichifor Corlățean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuzaplac FC. In the 81st match minute, Capata AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Blejan to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Capata AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Damian Dorineanu hit a great ball. Ionică Antipa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
