Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dumitru Slătineanu made the kick off which started today's match. Ionel Reznic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Nastac having to interfere. Constantin Ungureanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Niculae Şerbănescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Barnova getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Liviu Moisescu hit a great ball. Dumitru Slătineanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Petre Nastac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Barnova booed when Rapid București was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Pomuț didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th match minute, Barnova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Tăgorean to maneuver through the defense. Florin Tăgorean kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Constantin Stejaru notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Barnova's Niculae Şerbănescu. Niculae Şerbănescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Constantin Stejaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Niculae Şerbănescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dumitru Slătineanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dumitru Slătineanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Petre Nastac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47thth minute of the game Dumitru Slătineanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rapid București's Petre Nastac was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantin Ungureanu to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Barnova got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Slătineanu. When Codrin Pomuț came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Rapid București fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codrin Pomuț couldn't finish the play. Niculae Şerbănescu came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Rapid București's Constantin Stejaru. But to his dismay, Constantin Stejaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Rapid București getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Calistrat Surdu hit a great ball. Rapid București's Petre Nastac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Slătineanu in the 58th minute of play. Petre Nastac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Slătineanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petre Nastac stood somewhat misplaced when Ionel Reznic came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 73 minute. Constantin Ungureanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Niculae Şerbănescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Barnova getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Gigi Neguțu hit a great ball. Petre Nastac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Slătineanu in the 88th minute of the match. Victor Boacă kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Florin Tăgorean was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barnova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rapid București the free kick. A collision led to Barnova getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Florin Tăgorean hit a great ball. Barnova were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
