Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Silviu Bosânceanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Octav Mateescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 13 minutes, Vasile Chivulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hlincea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasile Chivulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Octav Mateescu didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 15th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Octav Mateescu ran dejectedly back to his position. Silviu Bosânceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iordache Chirilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Mateescu in the 29th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, Hlincea's Octav Mateescu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iordache Chirilă was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octav Mateescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Octav Mateescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octav Mateescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Ernest Maiorescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lorenz Rehm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Bosânceanu in the 54th minute of play. Vasile Chivulescu struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Iordache Chirilă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hlincea. Octav Mateescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Iordache Chirilă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hlincea's Eliodor Luncanu got a free kick in the 71st minute. Lorenz Rehm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iosif Ciungu in the 77th minute. Iordache Chirilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Mateescu in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Hlincea's Octav Mateescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iordache Chirilă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. If Octav Mateescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Hlincea's Vasile Chivulescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iordache Chirilă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Vasile Chivulescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iordache Chirilă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
