With a little luck, Steaua Bucuresti FC's Vlad Paulescu got control of the ball when Maxim Ţirpe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Narcis Prezan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Vlad Paulescu made a huge save. The supporters of Turmas AS booed when Steaua Bucuresti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Hurdubețiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ion Uncu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Vlad Paulescu made a huge save. When Teodor Burdulea fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turmas AS's protests and gave Teodor Burdulea a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Turmas AS got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Burdulea. 26 minutes in the game Maxim Ardeleanu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Toader Negrescu. In the 29th minute, Iustinian Cocârlă made a precise shot to the right of Horaţiu Ciompec. Turmas AS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Călin Tobă kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Gavril Cîrțu came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Steaua Bucuresti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavril Cîrțu couldn't finish the play. Maxim Plopeanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narcis Prezan got free with Vlad Paulescu in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vlad Paulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narcis Prezan went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 김 손 to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Maxim Plopeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steaua Bucuresti FC's Maxim Plopeanu got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horaţiu Ciompec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Plopeanu in the 65th minute of the match. Mircea Hurezan hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Vlad Paulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toader Negrescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Steaua Bucuresti FC's 김 손 got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Narcis Prezan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Turmas AS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 93 minutes into the game, 김 손 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Horaţiu Ciompec. 김 손 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Steaua Bucuresti FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
