Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Călin Groza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Crușeveanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 3rd match minute, Ciocoveni AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Petre to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Platon in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Dărmănescu saved Borsanii from getting behind. In the 9th minute Adrian Platon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Dărmănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandu Jienescu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Ciocoveni AS booed when Borsanii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nae Ticulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavian Mazăre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paul Dărmănescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrei Croitoru went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Borsanii's Paul Dărmănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Platon in the 30th minute of play. Andrei Pârvulescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paul Dărmănescu. Borsanii's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Andrei Croitoru struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Paul Dărmănescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciocoveni AS. After a rather tough play, Borsanii's Tiberiu Rușanu got a free kick in the 36th minute. Ciocoveni AS's Călin Groza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Crușeveanu in the 38th minute of play. After the first half Ciocoveni AS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Andrei Crușeveanu made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Adrian Platon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciocoveni AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Platon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Ciocoveni AS's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Crușeveanu came free, but Călin Groza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Călin Groza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Crușeveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciocoveni AS's goalkeeper Călin Groza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th minute Adrian Platon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Dărmănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Andrei Croitoru came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ciocoveni AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrei Croitoru couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Aurelian Tadici managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borsanii's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelian Tadici was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Călin Groza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Andrei Croitoru could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Paul Dărmănescu however easily saved by the left post. Adrian Platon scored 0-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul Dărmănescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Panait Şoiman kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Sandu Jienescu fired a really elegant long shot, but Paul Dărmănescu threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. With his leg Paul Dărmănescu managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Ciocoveni AS's Andrei Croitoru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aurelian Tadici might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Călin Groza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelian Tadici ran back to his position shaking his head. Andrei Crușeveanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Groza having to interfere. Andrei Crușeveanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Călin Groza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelian Tadici struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Călin Groza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borsanii. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ciocoveni AS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
