If Codrin Videanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Mihăiţă Mîțu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Axi Barbershop's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihăiţă Mîțu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Codrin Dăscălescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vintilă Aluculesei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th match minute, Inginerul Baia Mare FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Lupoaia to maneuver through the defense. Mihăiţă Mîțu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Codrin Dăscălescu made a huge save. In the 48th minute, Codrin Videanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Codrin Videanu made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Nistor Peter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Axi Barbershop and the Inginerul Baia Mare FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes Axi Barbershop got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Peter. Axi Barbershop's Mihăiţă Mîțu got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Inginerul Baia Mare FC's zone, Mădălin Moldovan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codrin Dăscălescu came out of the goal and Mădălin Moldovan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Codrin Videanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1-3 became the score in the 73rd minute when Vintilă Aluculesei elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Axi Barbershop's Felix Fărcășan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Codrin Dăscălescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vintilă Aluculesei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Lupoaia during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
