Iurie Cordescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jugani. Sabin Chioreanus short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Iurie Cordescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Manuel Predescu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Denis Papaiani hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Sabin Chioreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iurie Cordescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jugani's Manuel Ghionea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iurie Cordescu. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. Iurie Cordescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabin Chioreanu in the 18th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Jugani's Sabin Chioreanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iurie Cordescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Sabin Chioreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iurie Cordescu was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, Jugani's Sabin Chioreanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iurie Cordescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sabin Chioreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Jugani fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Jugani's Sabin Chioreanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sabin Chioreanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Manuel Predescu fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragoesti's protests and gave Manuel Predescu a yellow card for diving instead. If Octav Chitimia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Sabin Chioreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iurie Cordescu was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Sabin Chioreanu spun around in front of the goal 67 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Dragoesti's goal. The Jugani fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Jugani's Sabin Chioreanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabin Chioreanu in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iurie Cordescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dragoesti's Manuel Predescu got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Manuel Predescu off the ground. In the 79th minute, Eric Gârleanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dragoesti's zone, Manuel Ghionea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iurie Cordescu came out of the goal and Manuel Ghionea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iurie Cordescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabin Chioreanu in the 83rd minute of the match. Sabin Chioreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Dragoesti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jugani:s goal. Dragoesti's Iurie Cordescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Chioreanu in the 95th minute of play. After 101 played minutes Dragoesti got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Mergea. In the 104th minute of the match Jugani got a corner. Dragoesti's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Denis Papaiani ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Jugani's Denis Papaiani to fire away a dangerous shot which Iurie Cordescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jugani fully deserved thier win.
