Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vasile Şteflea started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Mateianu in the 5th minute of play forced Fc Farul's goalkeeper Gheorghe Bejenaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gheorghe Bejenaru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alin Romoşan's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute, Remus Hudiță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Romanian Patriots's Alin Romoşan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gheorghe Bejenaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florin Fetanu during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Fc Farul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Fetanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute of the match Ernest Hizo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gheorghe Bejenaru showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Fc Farul's Fabian Zgîrţa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stelian Aronescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabian Zgîrţa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vasile Şteflea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stelian Aronescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Alin Romoşan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gheorghe Bejenaru having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Romanian Patriots got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Verzeanu. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alin Romoşan to make the kick off. Ernest Hizo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Stelian Aronescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Mahonea in the 53rd minute of play. With 57 minutes on the clock, Ernest Hizo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 56 minutes into the game, one of Romanian Patriots:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Romanian Patriots:s Stelian Aronescu showed great skill when he stopped Gigel Mahonea:s penalty. In the 66th minute, Fabian Zgîrţa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Frâncu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Fc Farul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Panaiteanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Iustin Baba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Fabian Zgîrţa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Farul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Stelian Aronescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Zgîrţa in the 94th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Zgîrţa in the 96th minute of play forced Romanian Patriots's goalkeeper Stelian Aronescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Cristian Verzeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gheorghe Bejenaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Maxim Barbonța had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
