Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tibucani FC's Leonard Ilica started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Leonard Ilica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tibucani FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Dumitru Boeru fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OLD SCHOOL's protests and gave Dumitru Boeru a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tibucani FC booed when OLD SCHOOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dumitru Boeru didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Ilica in the 11th minute of play forced OLD SCHOOL's goalkeeper Ovidiu Bungescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Tibucani FC's Vlad Alexandrescu got control of the ball when Nicodim Mărculescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petre Zărnescu hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When Vali Burca fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tibucani FC's protests and gave Vali Burca a yellow card for diving instead. Vali Burca kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Nicodim Mărculescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Vlad Alexandrescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After taking down the ball on OLD SCHOOL's corner Horea Demian fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vlad Alexandrescu quite easily take care of the ball. Vlad Alexandrescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicodim Mărculescu in the 21st minute. Iulian Murgescu charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iulian Murgescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The tension between the OLD SCHOOL and the Tibucani FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicodim Mărculescu to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petrică Cozorici during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, OLD SCHOOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codruț Vornicu to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th match minute, Tibucani FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Bântu to maneuver through the defense. When OLD SCHOOL's Nicodim Mărculescu in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ovidiu Bungescu made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Leonard Ilica sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicodim Mărculescu in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlad Alexandrescu saved Tibucani FC from getting behind.
