Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Crusetu's Stelian Bădiliță started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd play minute Ionuț Stanciu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Daniel Nicolae. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Bădiliță in the 6th minute of play forced Pancota's goalkeeper Daniel Nicolae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ştefan Pârlog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ilie Gafița tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Mugurel Mihu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Gafița saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Nicolae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezar Baniciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Crusetu's Cezar Baniciu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 23rd minute, Ionuț Stanciu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Nicolae was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nae Mendrea during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Filip Spineanu made a precise shot to the right of Ilie Gafița. Crusetu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. A hard shot 32 in the game by Niculae Mateescu from a close distance when the talented Daniel Nicolae managed to make a qualified save. Pancota's players were relieved. Daniel Nicolae was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Ionuț Stanciu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ionuț Stanciu really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Daniel Nicolae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezar Baniciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Crusetu's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Spineanu came free, but Ilie Gafița reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mugurel Mihu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliodor Firea during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pancota's Daniel Nicolae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nae Mendrea in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mugurel Mihu in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilie Gafița saved Crusetu from getting behind. A collision led to Crusetu getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ionuț Stanciu hit a great ball. Eliodor Firea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ilie Gafița tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ştefan Pârlog got free with Ilie Gafița in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Pancota defense, Nae Mendrea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Nicolae. The Pancota fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Nicolae should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute, Nae Mendrea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Nicolae was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. A collision led to Pancota getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Nechifor Oardă hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the game, Nae Mendrea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-2. Daniel Nicolae was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Nicolae didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nae Mendrea went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-2 was the resulting score. 90 minutes into the match, Pancota's goal looked a bit too open when Nae Mendrea came free, but Daniel Nicolae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute of the match, Ştefan Pârlog got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ilie Gafița was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Nicolae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelian Bădiliță in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Crusetu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pancota had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
