Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Iurie Pascu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 0-1 became the score in the 5th minute when Eugen Ciolacu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Petre Huidu took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorin Mercea. Dorin Mercea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to calinpff getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Iurie Pascu hit a great ball. calinpff's Iordache Mohora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Spiridon in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pompiliu Spiridon in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iordache Mohora saved calinpff from getting behind. Petre Huidu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorin Mercea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Dorin Mercea made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Petre Huidu sent off a good shot on target. When Radu Goma fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored calinpff's protests and gave Radu Goma a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Pompiliu Spiridon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iordache Mohora was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 29thth minute of the game Eugen Ciolacu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but calinpff's Iordache Mohora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 31 minutes, Cătălin Buda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poli Iasi and the calinpff players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Cătălin Buda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Iurie Pascu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dorin Mercea was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Pompiliu Spiridon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Iordache Mohora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, calinpff's Laurențiu Ficsinescu got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Poli Iasi's zone, Iurie Pascu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorin Mercea came out of the goal and Iurie Pascu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The calinpff players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Poli Iasi were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Pompiliu Spiridon made the kick off in the second half. Eugen Ciolacu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Iordache Mohora skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 54 minutes of play calinpff's Radu Goma was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Radu Goma kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match, Pompiliu Spiridon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iordache Mohora saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Iordache Mohora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pompiliu Spiridon's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Eugen Ciolacu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Mohora having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Pompiliu Spiridon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iordache Mohora was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. The supporters of Poli Iasi booed when calinpff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iurie Pascu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Pompiliu Spiridon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iordache Mohora was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Pompiliu Spiridon had several of the calinpff's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Iordache Mohora as he didn't even see the shot coming. Eugen Ciolacu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Iordache Mohora when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Iurie Pascu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Iordache Mohora successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eugen Ciolacus short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Iordache Mohora to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eugen Ciolacu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iordache Mohora having to make a save. Iordache Mohora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Spiridon in the 93rd minute of the match. Eugen Ciolacu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Mohora having to interfere. The Poli Iasi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
