Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristian Zgîrţa kicked off to start the match. Ghencea's Mugurel Măcrineanu got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rdth minute of the game Cristian Zgîrţa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Greoni's Iordache Josan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iordache Josan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Zgîrţa in the 24th minute of the match. Horaţiu Nacu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Macarie in the 26th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Mugurel Măcrineanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fabian Macarie came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Greoni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Macarie couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Prezan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Nacu having to interfere. Ghencea's Horaţiu Nacu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Macarie in the 38th minute of play. Greoni were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Ghencea's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Octav Holban took the corner. Greoni's Octav Holban was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Horaţiu Nacu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Cristian Zgîrţa came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Ghencea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Zgîrţa couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Greoni's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Zgîrţa came free, but Iordache Josan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Greoni's Emanuel Prezan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horaţiu Nacu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Iordache Josan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fabian Macarie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eric Tătăruşanu kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Greoni's Fabian Macarie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horaţiu Nacu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 79 minutes, Eduard Turcescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Greoni and the Ghencea players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Eduard Turcescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Zgîrţa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emanuel Prezan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 83 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Horaţiu Nacu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Emanuel Prezan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Horaţiu Nacu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Fabian Macarie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 91 played minutes Ghencea got a freekick which was hit by Petru Donici. The supporters of Ghencea booed when Greoni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Sfetcu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
