Mihnea Onciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Zdrobiş having to interfere. In the 9th minute of the match Radu Onuț shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorin Hârlău showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nechifor Zdrobiş made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Mihnea Onciu sent off a good shot on target. Nechifor Zdrobiş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihnea Onciu in the 12th minute. Horea Angheloiu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Costel Bratu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Hârlău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Felix Mandache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihnea Onciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nechifor Zdrobiş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Mihnea Onciu sped through Plaic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nechifor Zdrobiş. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Volosin in the 37th minute of play forced Plaic's goalkeeper Nechifor Zdrobiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nechifor Zdrobiş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Volosin in the 41st minute of the match. After 43 minutes, Horaţiu Volosin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus Constanta and the Plaic players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Juventus Constanta's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Iulian Torouţ 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. If Costel Bratu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Plaic defense, Horaţiu Volosin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nechifor Zdrobiş. The Plaic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nechifor Zdrobiş should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus Constanta's zone, Costel Bratu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorin Hârlău came out of the goal and Costel Bratu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costel Bratu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Dorin Hârlău when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Costel Bratu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Hârlău having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Volosin in the 81st minute of play forced Plaic's goalkeeper Nechifor Zdrobiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Horaţiu Volosin notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Plaic's Nechifor Zdrobiş. Nechifor Zdrobiş was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Horaţiu Volosin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nechifor Zdrobiş was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Horaţiu Volosin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nechifor Zdrobiş was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Plaic players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Juventus Constanta.
