Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iulian Torouţ took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Plaic getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Vlad Mahonea hit a great ball. Fabian Cămărășescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nechifor Zdrobiş. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gică Todoran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 73rd minute Horea Angheloiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Cruceru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelian Cruceru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Torouţ in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Plaic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Angheloiu to maneuver through the defense. Balomiresti's Aurelian Cruceru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Torouţ in the 85th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iulian Torouţ in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelian Cruceru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 94 minutes, Iulian Torouţ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plaic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iulian Torouţ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Plaic fans cheered their team off the field, for while Balomiresti had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
