After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ciprian Albu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciprian Albu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinand Pașcalău breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciprian Albu succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. When Ciprian Albu came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Liverpool FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciprian Albu couldn't finish the play. FC Sebastian's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nichifor Golumbean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dinu Ticulescu's late challenge caught a Liverpool FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinu Ticulescu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when FC Sebastian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinu Ticulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinand Pașcalău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Albu, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodor Zglimbea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ferdinand Pașcalău, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Horia Micu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calistrat Logofeteanu during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes FC Sebastian got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Logofeteanu. 87 minutes into the match, FC Sebastian's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Albu came free, but Ferdinand Pașcalău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liverpool FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
