Luca Papaiani was a little too slow when Alexandru Enoiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. With a little luck, Fc Rapid Bucuresti's Luca Papaiani got control of the ball when Rareș Arotăriței tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Mihnea Dragomiroiu fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Rapid Bucuresti's protests and gave Mihnea Dragomiroiu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fc Rapid Bucuresti getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. PeanutNetwork's Vasile Babarada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Șerban Roşca in the 35th minute of play.
