The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristinel Podgoreanu during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 5 minutes into the game, Rossoneri FC's Gabriel Cozma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ülo Lehemets made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Gabriel Cozma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Balacia getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Anton Costa hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Rossoneri FC's Mihail Petran in action when he in the 17th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After having played for 19 minutes, Gabriel Cozma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rossoneri FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Cozma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nikos Triantafillou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ion Crivoi in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Gabriel Cozma notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Balacia's Ülo Lehemets. Ülo Lehemets was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adulfo Sobera charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adulfo Sobera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rossoneri FC booed when Balacia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adulfo Sobera didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Balacia's Ülo Lehemets got control of the ball when Gabriel Cozma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ionică Şoimu kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Francisc Joja came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Balacia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisc Joja couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute, Andrei Galușcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ion Crivoi got free with Nikos Triantafillou in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute, Ion Crivoi made a precise shot to the right of Nikos Triantafillou. Rossoneri FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Adulfo Sobera kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Gabriel Cozma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ülo Lehemets having to interfere. Ülo Lehemets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Cozma in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Rossoneri FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Francisc Joja fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Francisc Joja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Gabriel Cozma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rossoneri FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balacia the free kick. Gabriel Cozma kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rossoneri FC fully deserved thier win.
