Emil Iureș kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Lucian Negulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alin Turcu having to interfere. Alin Turcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Smirna's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Pantiș came free, but Vintilă Olariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Miroiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Claudiu Itu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alin Turcu. Claudiu Itu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 32nd minute, Gigel Pantiș made a precise shot to the right of Vintilă Olariu. Smirna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Adrian Miroiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, Claudiu Itu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alin Turcu, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Francisc Moiș hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Francisc Moiș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Smirna getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Francisc Moiș hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Smirna fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Iustin Gherdan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 84 minutes into the match, Rosenau's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Miroiu came free, but Alin Turcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nistor Mihălțan lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 85 minutes into the game, one of Smirna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Vintilă Olariu, was totally fooled by Rosenau's Iustin Gherdan, who 87 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Smirna's Vintilă Olariu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Smirna from getting a goal against them. Vintilă Olariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Pantiș, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Claudiu Itu kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match.
