Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iurie Ignea got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Pietrisul CSM's Gheorghe Chițan got a free kick in the 4th minute. Maxim Spiridon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nistor Codru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Iurie Ignea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Frâncu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Codruț Gherase was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ghiurche CSS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pietrisul CSM the free kick. Robert Oțeteleșanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Codru having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristinel Balcan got free with Dumitru Frâncu in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nistor Codru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Oțeteleșanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Maxim Spiridon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristinel Balcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Frâncu having to interfere. Robert Oțeteleșanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46thth minute of the game Maxim Spiridon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pietrisul CSM's Nistor Codru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Oțeteleșanu in the 47th minute of play forced Pietrisul CSM's goalkeeper Nistor Codru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maxim Spiridon to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Pietrisul CSM's Cristinel Balcan got a free kick in the 51st minute. 56 minutes into the match, Ghiurche CSS's Robert Oțeteleșanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nistor Codru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 58 minutes of play, Pietrisul CSM's Iurie Ignea made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dumitru Frâncu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 65 minutes, Iurie Ignea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pietrisul CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iurie Ignea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pietrisul CSM's goalkeeper Nistor Codru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nistor Codru was a little too slow when Maxim Spiridon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-1. 83 minutes into the match, Pietrisul CSM's goalkeeper Nistor Codru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornel Encioiu. A collision led to Pietrisul CSM getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cristinel Burileanu hit a great ball. The supporters of Pietrisul CSM booed when Ghiurche CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Peptan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dumitru Frâncu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iurie Ignea's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The Ghiurche CSS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pietrisul CSM from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
