Nichifor Apostolescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Oțeteleșanu in the 5th minute. Ghiurche CSS's Dumitru Frâncu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Tănăsie in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Ghiurche CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Ceaușescu came free, but Dumitru Frâncu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ghiurche CSS booed when Hasameli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Buricea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th match minute, Hasameli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Buricea to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Hasameli's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Spiridon came free, but Nichifor Apostolescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nichifor Apostolescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maxim Spiridon's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Victor Peptan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match Nechifor Isăilă sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dumitru Frâncu skillfully saved the ball. Marcu Tănăsie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes in the game, Dragoş Ceaușescu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Nichifor Apostolescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Spiridon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcu Tănăsie scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dumitru Frâncu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Ghiurche CSS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hasameli were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dragoş Ceaușescu to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Ghiurche CSS got a freekick which was hit by Costică Crișan. After a rather tough play, Ghiurche CSS's Maxim Spiridon got a free kick in the 55th minute. Mihail Buricea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dumitru Frâncu came out and tried to block the shot, but Mihail Buricea slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 62nd minute. Marcu Tănăsie's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Dumitru Frâncu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ghiurche CSS's Dumitru Frâncu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Ceaușescu in the 67th minute of play. Marcu Tănăsie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dumitru Frâncu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragoş Ceaușescu in the 71st minute of play. Maxim Spiridon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nichifor Apostolescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marcu Tănăsie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Hasameli got a freekick which was hit by Iurie Magherescu. Maxim Spiridon struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Nichifor Apostolescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ghiurche CSS. If Robert Oțeteleșanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxim Spiridon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 87th minute of the match Mihail Buricea completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mihail Buricea a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
