Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iordache Şerbănoiu started the match with the kick off. Octav Bărnuțiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordache Şerbănoiu in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Alexandru Chindriș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of -GMT- FC Corvinul:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FCM BACAU:s goal. Pompiliu Albuț charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pompiliu Albuț the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes FCM BACAU got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Albuț. In the 19th minute, Iordache Şerbănoiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Cosâmbescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute Iordache Şerbănoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Bărnuțiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Cosâmbescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Bărnuțiu having to interfere. Octav Bărnuțiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Cosâmbescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FCM BACAU's Gabriel Cosâmbescu got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Iordache Şerbănoiu made a precise shot to the right of Octav Bărnuțiu. -GMT- FC Corvinul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Zdrenţu to make the kick off. When Iordache Şerbănoiu came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the FCM BACAU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iordache Şerbănoiu couldn't finish the play. If Iordache Şerbănoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When FCM BACAU's Pompiliu Albuț in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye -GMT- FC Corvinul's goalie prevented a goal. Gabriel Cosâmbescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Octav Bărnuțiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Gabriel Cosâmbescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Cosâmbescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augustin Stătescu charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augustin Stătescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gabriel Cosâmbescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Octav Bărnuțiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gabriel Cosâmbescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Octav Bărnuțiu made a huge save. Octav Bărnuțiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordache Şerbănoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gabriel Cosâmbescu in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Octav Bărnuțiu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 83rd match minute, -GMT- FC Corvinul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Ferenț to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Iordache Şerbănoiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octav Bărnuțiu was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Octav Bărnuțiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Şerbănoiu in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Gabriel Cosâmbescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Octav Bărnuțiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iordache Şerbănoiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octav Bărnuțiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
