After a rather tough play, Tineretului FC's Mircea Mihele got a free kick in the 8th minute. Ciopirteni's Romeo Costandin got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paul Berca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Costandin in the 14th minute of play. Nistor Bacanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Berca having to interfere.
